Diary
- Check the coolant level
- Check the level of the track lubricant tank
- Clean chips from track and inner bowl covers
- Clean chips from the covered turret, extension tube and swivel joint. Make sure the drive tube cover is installed either on the rotary joint or on the open side of the hydraulic clamping plate.
Weekly
- Check proper drain operation on filter regulator
- Check the pressure gauge or air regulator to see that it is at 85 psi.
- Clean exterior surfaces with a mild cleaner, but never use solvents
- Wipe the chips out of the tray or reservoir into the coolant tank.
Monthly
- Inspect the track cover for proper operation and lubricate with a light oil if necessary.
- Remove the pump from the coolant tank and clean any sediment or debris from inside the tank. Lastly, reinstall the tank. It is important to be careful when disconnecting the coolant pump, turning off the control and disconnecting the power from the machine.
- Empty the oil drain pan
- Check the oil level in the gearbox. If oil is not visible on the bottom edge of the gauge, remove the end panel and add through the top hole of the filter until oil is visible on the gauge screen.
Biannual
- Change the coolant fluid and properly clean the coolant tank.
- Change the hydraulic oil filter unit.
- Check that there are no cracks in all the hoses and the lubrication line.
Annual
- Change the transmission or gearbox oil
- With the air pressure off, remove and clean the small filter at the end of the lubricator.
- Check the oil filter and clean any debris at the bottom of the filter.
